Crawdiddy is a collaboration of Ken Wells and his musically gifted brother Pershing Wells, owner of Digital Sac-a'-Lait Recording Studio in Cajun Louisiana. Ken lives in Chicago. Persh lives down in Houma, La. They create remotely. Ken sketches out a song on his guitar and does a basic demo. He emails Persh an mp3. Persh takes the demo and arranges and records, personally handling the guitar parts and the vocals and often bringing in other musicians. The latest CD features Cajun fiddlers extraoridnaire, Michael Doucet of BeauSoleil fame, and Waylon Thibodeaux. Influences: C&W, bluegrass, blues, funk, hip-hop and Cajun-Zydeco. Their second CD, "Crawdiddy & Friends," is now available at ITunes, Amazon Music or Rhapsody. Two Wells brothers' songs, Cher BeBe and Chanky-Chank Music, have become standards for Waylon.
